Christmas Decorations Greeting Card
Good evening everyone,
You know one thing which I have noticed about myself is that I just love painting Christmas cards, making them reminds me of all the festivities and gifts and what not, aah...there's just something about Christmas!
Anyway, today, I saw this August Color Challenge @ 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and I simply couldn't resist. An idea popped up into my mind and hurriedly, I picked up my brushes n' colors, without wasting much time, I started painting. Consciously keeping in mind to use primarily the traditional red and green colors. I then, folded the white card stock into half to make a card. I also painted pine leaves along with little ornaments of decorations and finished the card by adding a thin red border to my painted image.
And... voila!
My watercolor card was ready for submission.
P.S Lastly, I kept the card on a red background and clicked the picture.

Happy Birthday Dad Nautical Card
Hello everyone...
Hope you all had a great weekend!
The card which I've made today is inspired by the nautical theme of the challenge from Ooh La La Creations : Challenge #186 Nautical.
I used white card stock for the base of my card. On that I painted the scenery/landscape and pasted a nice little black window on top of it, so that it looks like you're looking outside a window.
This is a birthday card for the 'Dad' category and the use of an anchor drawn on a little tag is made use of because, ultimately, a father is their children's anchor. The sentiments are handwritten.
Here's my card ~
Hope you like it. Have fun! :-)

Handmade Red And Green Christmas Card
Hello friends,
So yesterday, I found burlap while shopping for my craft supplies and I thought I'll buy it since I've always wanted to use it! So, when I made this card, I thought- why not use it? The best part is that I could fit it into the required conditions for the latest challenge that I'm taking part in. I saw this August Sketch challenge going on at 52 CHRISTMAS CARD THROWDOWN and I decided to play along as I liked the given sketch for this challenge.
On the card stock, I have pasted pieces of green burlap and red card stock. Then, I painted candy canes and a wreath (my favorite part), cut the painted Christmas elements into their shapes, made a fence out of plain white paper and stuck the wreath on to it. I also tied a matching green-white twine on the candy canes and finally added the sentiment which is handwritten. I love the red green color combo.
Here it is, my card for this Christmas-themed challenge, doesn't it make you want to sing a Christmas carol?
And here's the sketch for inspiration!
"Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis' the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la".

One Layer Candy Cane Christmas Card
Hello friends,
So, today I came up with a Christmas card. Ohhh...don't be surprised! Christmas in August? I am very much aware that Christmas is still far away. but actually this card is my take on One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #15 (Optional twist: Candy cane)
This one is a simple card with minimal elements. My family members like it this way - plain and simple. They don't like too many embellishments and glittery stuff. So, I thought I'll leave it this way.
Since the card is supposed to be a one layer card, I directly painted the candy cane on the card stock paper itself using watercolors (No layers of papers / stamps used). And the sentiment is handwritten. It was fun making this card as it was made really quickly and it didn't take me much time.

Happy Holidays Greeting Card
Hello everyone!
So, today I came up with a new card for my "Summer Season'' card collection.
This card features a really nice beach and the scenery so clearly highlights the holiday theme and our craving for a nice long break from our busy lives...
This beach card is painted using watercolors, since I wanted to capture the holiday feel, I've added a nice little umbrella to it. I've kept the card really simple and as you can notice there's not a lot of attention to detail.
But oh, what a coincidence! There's a very similar theme and photo inspiration at the 'Inkspirational' and 'AAA Cards' this week. So, I thought I'll pop in my card in both the challenges. Smart, right?
Soo... Happy holidays, people! :D
P.S. Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to let me know what you think of the card in your comments below.

I would also like to enter this card for another challenge 'C4C297 Happy'
The challenge was to create a card that includes the word 'happy' on it. :)

Thinking Of You Greeting Card
A big Hello to you all...
I hope you all had a great weekend. So again, I came across this competition called the "Color Throw down Challenge" (I seem to be coming across a lot of challenges these days) :P
Anyway, this card is my last minute submission for the above-mentioned challenge #353. So, have a look at it guys and do let me know what you feel about this card through your comments below. I would really like that! :D
I added a soothing background and painted the deer. Then, did the foliage of trees. The sentiment was handwritten later on to match the picture of a lonely deer.
The required color palette given to us for making the card consisted of Yellow, Purple & Green- which happen to be my favorite colors. I have used pastel shades of the mentioned colors for an elegant effect.
Hope you all like it!
P.S. Isn't the purple tree pretty? ;)

Happy Spring Watercolor Greeting Card
Hi everyone,
This is the first time I'm taking part in a challenge. I just came across this challenge while browsing on the net and after reading what it was all about, I wanted to give it a try.
The following card is my entry for the new August challenge at Create something catchy challenge.
My card celebrates the season of Spring with a floral theme. I've used watercolors on card-stock 300 gsm paper. I am really happy with the way the card looks, and how the colors have blended with each other. Quite pleased with the final outcome. I felt like I should be doing something more... but when I showed it to my daughter, asking her if it needed something else, she stopped me and told me that mom less is more. I gave in to her advice and didn't go overboard with the painting!
So here's my card~

Pink Roses In Watercolor
Roses are my favorite. Pink Roses are symbolic representations of love, gratitude and appreciation. They exude such graceful elegance which one can hardly ignore. The pink blooms are truly majestic. I consider them to be the best gifting option for all occasions.
