Colorful Spring Tree

'Spring'  is the season when the flowering plants bloom. It appears as if earth has turned into a kaleidoscope of colors. Everything seems so alive and full of color. I really think that this is the time when nature is at its best. Spring is related to the idea of rejuvenation and regrowth of new life. So, here's a new watercolor painting to mark the onset of spring season...

Get Well Soon Floral Greeting Card

Hi everyone,

Yesterday, I painted a couple of cards. The card that I'm sharing today is "Get Well Soon Floral Greeting Card" which is inspired by a challenge I found online. I really liked their sketch, its simple and clean.

Here's my interpretation of the sketch:

Cute Love Text Card

Hiiiii friends!

Today, I have made this bright and colorful card.

The challenge for me was to feature just one word... no more no less...
The word that I've chosen is 'LOVE'.

For this card, after a lot of dilly-dallying, I chose the text. I, then, painted it red using watercolors and added the shapes to the selected alphabets. To finish it off, I drew outlines of all the figures with a pointed marker pen.
I enjoyed making this cute n' adorable card and am quite pleased with the outcome.

Purple Poppy Flowers

Off to a wonderful start this November ~ ~
Gud morning folks, and what a lovely morning! Bright sunshine seeping in through the curtains bringing in a new day and rays of hope. I can't wait so long ... to get started. I have to paint something... I always choose a colorful palette before I pick up my brush and then draw a few doodles. Finally, I've made up my mind about what today's painting will be ...probably poppy flowers ... but not the usual red colour

Here's the final piece of art in watercolor ~

The purple colored poppy flowers are looking good to me and I'm pretty happy with the title also.
Thats all for today ...
Have a nice day!
